Helsingborg has had the toughest conceivable start to the all-Swedish season. The last loss against Mjällby means that the team is last in the table on one point and not a single goal ahead.

In an interview with Sydsvenskan, Helsingborg chairman Krister Azelius says that he is not completely at ease with the situation the club is in.

- It is clear that it is a precarious position. There is much left of the season, but with that said it is worrying. We definitely need to achieve an achievement that is not only better but also generates points, he says.

Olof Mellberg was introduced as a new coach last fall and despite the crisis he will remain in that role.

- Me and the rest of the management have confidence in him even in this crowded situation, says Azelius.

- I know what I said at the press conference when we presented Olof. Then I said “So far we have had three coach changes during the season. We must have peace and quiet, and the opportunity to work long term ”. And it still applies despite the very difficult introduction. We cannot overturn all plans.

Next, Djurgården awaits Monday for Helsingborg, which is then placed against IFK Gothenburg.
