The German Football Association (DFB) said on Friday in Frankfurt that it made 19.5 million euros (21.9 million dollars) in taxes after tax.

Revenue was 405.2 million euros last year, while expenditures were 385.7 million euros.
"This gives us very satisfactory results, even though 2019 was not the year of the event," said Stefan Osnabrüg, treasurer of the German Confederation.
The positive balance raised the German Federation reserves to 169.6 million euros, but, after the Coruna virus crisis, it is expected to lose 16 million euros this year.
"The savings threshold is what is important now," Osnabrug said.
