The team may also continue to train on Belvoir Drive. "All parties are satisfied that the club's football activities can continue safely in accordance with the set regulations," Leicester City writes in a statement.

"If we do, there is no increased risk to the club's staff, visiting team or the community around it."

Leicester, third in the Premier League, have three home games left to play - against Crystal Palace, Sheffield United and Manchester United.

Earlier on Tuesday it was talked about that Leicester would be allowed to play their remaining home games at neutral level.

The city currently has the highest infection rate in the entire country, ten per cent of the virus infected in the UK in the past week. Leicester has closed down and schools and unnecessary stores are being closed.
