In Swedish kronor, it is estimated that there will be about SEK 12 million that the Premier League offers to get the league started this fall.

Premier Leagues CEO Richard Masters has announced to the UK parliamentary network that the investment will help finance the costs of coronate tests. Those tests are the key to getting the league up and running.

- What we have been able to do is offer them around one million pounds to get their test program going. We have been offering this recently, and I think that is the basis for them to start the 2020-2021 season, "Richard Masters told the BBC.

"Not the right time for it"

In the long term, the Premier League also wants to take over the operation of WSL.

- But right now is not the right time for it, says Richard Masters.

WSL was canceled in March because of the corona pandemic, where Swedish national team star Magdalena Eriksson's Chelsea was awarded the league gold.
