Kang Jung-ho said today (29th) that he had long ago worried about his SNS and told him that he wanted to withdraw his request to return to the Heroes club.

He added that he felt that he had done a very wrong thing to ask for forgiveness and to stand in front of the fans, and that his desire to play baseball in Heroes was changed too much.

Kang Jeong-ho, who owed himself to drunk driving in 2016, was punished by a one-year suspension from KBO after his intention to return to Korea last month.

The official apologized and bowed at a press conference last week saying he would take all the accusations and discipline, but the criticism continued despite the chilling public opinion.

Eventually, Kang Jeong-ho decided to give up his return to Korea and announced this to the Heroes team yesterday.

[Kim Chi-hyun / Kiwoom Heroes General Manager: Kang Jung-ho said,'I'm sorry that the club, the players, and many people seem to be burdened and struggling because of my personality.' I got in touch last night. He expressed his intentions about the content to be announced.]

Kang Jeong-ho said, "I haven't decided what way to go yet."
