- We have a responsibility to the fans, who we wanted to see fill the away section, to win as many matches as possible. This meant a lot to me, IFK Gothenburg and all the fans, says match winner Hosam Aiesh, two goals and an assist, to SVT Sport.

Hammarby's red cards changed the game.

- The red card turned the match in our favor. We pushed them down and it was us who controlled and set, we gained momentum, says Tobias Sana to SVT Sport.

Hammarby faced almost the entire second half with one man less but did not endure in the extension. David Fällman had his arm too high and Hammarby went on his second penalty. Hosam Aiesh took care of his second penalty and cut the ball high and hard in the middle of the goal for 2-1.

A final run Hammarby could not resist and Sargon Abraham could easily beat 3-1 on Aiesh's fine opening pass obliquely in the back in the penalty area and definitely decide the match.

Andersen's expulsion reversed the match

Hammarby's Jeppe Andersen was expelled early in the second half. He was late in a duel with Emil Holm, grabbed his arm and the IFK player overturned. The Danes got a red card right away and Hosam Aiesh took care of the subsequent penalty.

- It was tough for Hammarby to receive both a red card and a penalty against him. It was as if they received two penalties against them, says Blåvitts Tobias Sana.

Hammarby's goalkeeper Davor Blazevic went right and saved the penalty, but Aiesh rushed forward and nodded his own return for 1-1.

"We'll see ourselves in the mirror"

Gothenburg started the second half strongly and just before the penalty, Victor Wernersson shot clockwise into the bar.

Hammarby was the better team at the start of the match but after the red card the uphill slope became too big.

- We get to see ourselves in the mirror and train harder. We must go ahead and turn this around, says David Fällman, who caused the second penalty, the one that gave IFK Gothenburg 2-1 and showed the way to victory.
