Taking advantage of the opportunity to hold a joint practice session for high school students aiming for professional baseball June 25, 18:44

Along with the suspension of high school baseball tournaments such as Koshien in summer, a joint practice session will be held to secure the opportunity for high school students aiming for professional baseball to appeal to scouts.

Due to the influence of the new coronavirus, there are fewer official high school baseball games than usual, such as the suspension of spring and summer Koshien, and from players aiming for professional baseball, it will be on October 26th. There were voices of anxiety such as "the number of places of appeal has decreased" toward the draft meeting.

Under these circumstances, NPB=Japan Baseball Organization and Japan Takanoren will hold a joint practice session for high school students aiming for professional baseball, and was approved by the board of directors of the Japan Student Baseball Association held on the 25th. It was

According to the Japan Student Baseball Association, the target students are the high school students who submitted the professional award notification from August 1st to 21st and wish to participate in the joint practice session.

We have three schedules for two days of the weekend, August 29th and 30th, September 5th and 6th, September 12th and 13th, and 2 depending on the number of people who want to participate. We plan to hold it once or three times.

NPB and Takanoren will discuss about the venue and the method of holding the joint practice session, and will announce the essential points around 20th of next month.
