Director Yeom Kyung-yeop lost his consciousness suddenly and fell to the side after watching Doosan Oh Jae-il's blow while he was behind 6 and 3 at the beginning of the first two rounds of Doosan and the Double Header.

In a sudden emergency, not only SK players but also Doosan Kim Tae-hyung came to the scene and looked at Yeom with a puzzled look.

Director Yeom was immediately transported to the ambulance on a stretcher and headed to a nearby hospital.

Director Yeom was said to have recovered consciousness during the transfer to the hospital and was able to communicate with his family.

[Kim Sung-Yong/Director of SK Wyverns PR Group (Yesterday): We will be conducting additional checkups after being admitted to the hospital today. My chest is stuffy and there are a few signs of tingling.]

Director Yeom is known to have suffered from insomnia due to extreme stress because his team was unable to consume food properly during his 7th consecutive losing streak.

It is the first time in a professional baseball game that a coach has been fainted and transferred to a hospital during a game.

During Yeom's hospitalization, Park Kyung-wan, head coach, will lead the team as acting coach.
