Marathon 2 Canceled Berlin and New York New Corona June 25 7:54

The German marathon scheduled for September this year and the New York City marathon scheduled for November in the United States have been canceled due to the new coronavirus.

The Berlin Marathon was scheduled to be held on September 27th with the participation of the world's top runners.

However, in Germany, as a preventive measure against the new coronavirus infection, it was decided to stop because it is prohibited to hold events such as more than 5000 people until October.

In addition, the New York City Marathon was scheduled to be held on November 1st, the world's largest competition with over 50,000 participants from the world's top runners to citizen runners every year.

However, the organizer of the tournament decided to cancel the runner, spectators, volunteers and other health and safety concerns due to the new coronavirus.

The New York City Marathon, which began in 1970, runs through five wards and reaches the Central Park in Manhattan, making it one of New York's biggest autumn events.

This tournament will be canceled for the second time since 2012 when the hurricane was damaged, and the 50th milestone event has been carried over to next year.
