In the surge of the Black Lives Matter movement, a few weeks ago, Nascar made the decision to ban the Southern State flag at its races. A terrible consequence of this was that a snare was placed in Bubba Wallace's garage in connection with the competition in Talladega.

Before the race, however, the other drivers showed that they are behind Wallace.

The other drivers pushed Wallace's car in front of the starting line and when the driver got out of the car with the rest of the drivers behind him he cried. #IStandWithBubbaWallace had been painted on the grass.

- I'm proud to be here. The sport is changing. I wanted to show that whoever did it couldn't get my smile off. I will continue, says Wallace according to AP.

Bubba Wallace was among the top five during parts of the race, but eventually finished in goal as the 14th driver. Winning the race in front of nearly empty stands made total coach Ryan Blaney.

- I think it was great that everyone joined up. I don't want this day to be remembered as a bad day at Nascar. I want you to remember it as an incident that we all managed together, says Blaney.
