"It was a tough race with a very tough final climb. Pogacar was the favorite in view of the spring and it was certainly not easy to beat him. I had explored the climb well, so I knew where to go."
Roglic crossed the line solo and kept Pogacar behind for ten seconds. "I am certainly not in top form yet, but I am already looking forward to the upcoming races. I also want to thank the team for taking the trouble to guide me in Slovenia. That means a lot to me."
Roglic will prepare for the Tour de France in the near future. The Tour de France has been moved from June / July to August 29-September 20.
