Sayed Abdel-Hafeez, director of football at Al-Ahly Club, confirmed today, Sunday, that the technical staff led by Swiss Rene Weiler has set next Wednesday a date to resume training.
Abdel Hafeez explained that this step comes after completing all precautionary and preventive measures and following the instructions of the Ministries of Youth, Sports and Health, and conducting a medical smear today for all members of the technical staff, players, and staff of the soccer team to check on the safety of everyone before the start of training and preparing for the return of the Premier League after a long pause by doing Corona emerging virus crisis.
The technical staff settled on dividing the players into two groups, with the team’s training starting next Wednesday morning, with the first group starting their training at eight thirty in the morning, followed by the second group’s training.
During the past hours, coordination contacts took place between the members of the technical staff, to arrange for the team's return to training and to develop the training program that will be implemented during the next stage.
