The Japanese national team of volleyball men had been training camp at the National Training Center in Kita-ku, Tokyo since March this year, but it was canceled in early April due to the spread of new coronavirus infection.
The Japan Volleyball Association is preparing for the resumption of the camp, and by the 19th we checked the physical condition of the athletes and staff and tested the antibody for viruses, and as a result there was no suspicion of infection, and we resumed the camp from the 20th. I decided to do it.
The training camp will be held at the National Training Center until mid-August.
According to the Japan Volleyball Association, at training camps, in addition to disinfecting the balls and floors before practice as a measure to prevent infections, the temperature of athletes and staff and the disinfection of hands are also performed.
Also, from 20th onwards for the time being, we will focus on individual training, and then gradually introduce team training and online training.
