Several thousand Naples supporters celebrated their team's victory over Juventus in the Italian Cup final, igniting smoke and fireworks and jumping into the fountains of the city center.

The Olympic Stadium in Rome, where the final was held, was empty, the match being played behind closed doors in accordance with the post-coronavirus health protocol.

But in Naples, the tifosi were several thousand, more than 5,000 according to the Sky channel, to celebrate the success obtained against Juventus (0-0, 4 tab at 2), the sworn enemy.

Place Trieste and Trento

Parades of cars and scooters began at the final whistle and gatherings took place in different parts of the city, with supporters lighting up smoke bombs, setting off fireworks and displaying scarves and banners in praise of Napoli or mocking Juve.

The most important gathering took place in Place Trieste and Trento, the traditional meeting place for club tifosi on victory days.

In the middle of the flags, the horns and the songs, dozens of people threw themselves into the Artichoke fountain, placed in the center of the square. Naples had not won a trophy since 2014 and a double in the Italian Cup and Super Cup.
