19-year-old Eric Garcia was forced to leave the match on a stretcher. The Spaniard went on a big bang by teammate Ederson. The Brazilian goalkeeper rushed out and nodded off a ball, but he also ran on Garcia.
Medical personnel came on the plan to take care of the defender. It took eight minutes before they carried him out on stretcher.
After the match, coach Pep Guardiola was able to give a reassuring message:
"He (Garcia) is conscious, but they want to do some more tests on him for safety," he told British media.
