The 32-year-old slope Rosa Lindstedt has a solid track record. For more than a decade, she has made over 250 national matches for Finland, including four World Cup medals and two Olympic bronze medals.

She has played for HV71 for the past four seasons, but is now switching to SDHL teams. Today, Brynäs announced that they have signed a two-year contract with Lindstedt.

- Rosa will mainly contribute with a strong defensive but she also has strengths in the offensive game and especially in special teams with her size. She comes in and becomes the oldest member of the team and has a tremendous routine, not only because of her age but also from what she has achieved during her career, says Erika Grahm in a statement on the club's website, and continues:

- It is a player who has a great drive to constantly develop that she has been with for so long and it is something that will benefit our younger players who get someone to look up to and learn what it takes to be able to perform at top level.

"Want to play in a good team"

Rosa Lindstedt explains her decision to change teams like this:

- I needed to come up with something new for motivation and inspiration and I want to play in a good team. Brynäs has many good players who will help me in my development.
