Ashleigh Barty, Australia, won the US Open in double 2018. Last year it was time for her to play home the first singles title in a Grand Slam tournament. The 24-year-old won the French Open after defeating Markéta Vondrousova in two straight sets.

The French Open will be decided this fall - the tournament will be played between September 21 and October 11. It confirms the tournament on its official website.

On the men's side, Rafael Nadal won 2019.
