According to Sport24, Kokorin and Mamaev could not attend the meeting of the Moscow City Court, because of which their lawyers asked to postpone the hearing.
According to representatives of the defense, athletes cannot attend meetings until July 22, since violation of the isolation regime can harm not only them, but also members of their team.
“The court grants the applications and adjournes the hearing until July 6 at 10:00. Further will be decided. Most likely, let's go towards. They want to check the notifications and the possibility of the participation of the victims. Why they are not there or why they refuse to participate, ”the judge said.
In mid-May, the Second Court of Cassation of General Jurisdiction overturned the Moscow City Court's appeal in the Kokorin and Mamaev cases. Football players who have already served their sentence can achieve retraining of prosecution articles.
Earlier, lawyer Igor Bushmanov expressed the opinion that it is impossible to compare the cases of actor Mikhail Efremov and Kokorin with Mamaev.
