The Champions League has been halted because of the corona crisis and today Uefa went out with a message on how to complete the tournament.

The quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will all be decided in the Portuguese capital Lisbon, where the finals will be played on 23 August.

The first matches start on August 12, which means that the tournament will be completed within twelve days.

Before that, the return meetings are played in the eighth finals. They will be played clearly at the respective home team's arena on August 7 and 8.

The final should have been played in Istanbul, but the city may host 2021 instead.

The Europa League will be played clearly in a similar format starting August 10 at four different venues in Germany. The final takes place in Cologne on August 21.

The women's tournament will in turn be completed between August 21 and 30 in San Sebastian and Bilbao. The final is played in the former city.

The European Championships, which are moved to next summer, will be played as planned in twelve cities. At the same time, the playoff will be completed and the Nations League will begin this fall.
