Today, Uefa made a decision on what will happen to this season and next season's Champions League - and that became positive news for Djurgården.

The reigning Swedish champions, who step into the first qualifying round, continue to have an opportunity to reach the tournament and Bosse Andersson's sports manager is relieved.

- There are two things to say here. The first is that we actually got a message, that there is an opportunity for us to get the chance to play the Champions League. It is very positive, he tells SVT Sport and continues:

- The second is that it gets a little special with just single meetings, except in the playoff where there will be double meetings. At the same time, it is most of a relief to have something to relate to and to have the chance to get us there.

It has long been unclear what is happening, yes.

- In these times, you have to adjust to the decisions that are made and, of course, do so with the respect that it is a very different season for football.

Andersson does not hint that the lottery will be important.

- It would have been important no matter what, but it is clear that now it plays a bigger role with the home plan and the whole bit. Therefore, you can hope that you get some luck, and maybe even the audience, he says and continues:

- The message above all means that it makes it easier for us to relate to our planning, not least with regard to Allsvenskan, before we enter the qualifying round on 18-19 August.

Djurgården receives Örebro at home in the second round of Allsvenskan.
