In Östersund FK's podcast, goalkeeper Aly Keita was asked if he had experienced racism on the pitch and then he recorded the incident from last season.

- I've heard Negroes and other bad things. Last year, I was told by a judge to “Stop talking. Go back to your goal so they can throw bananas at you, ”Keita says.

It was in the match between Östersund and Sundsvall last year that the incident happened and the judge then was Martin Strömbergsson.

- I can conclude that that thunderstorm became a huge mistake. There was nothing racist in it. This is how I perceive that Keita also understood it, says Judge Strömbergsson to Expressen.

"It must not happen"

The judge also apologized to Keita directly.

Judge Stefan Stefanesson takes a serious look at the incident.

- It's unacceptable. You have to think about what you say. All forms of discrimination, whether it be sexism, racism or LGBT1 issues, must not say such a thing. It must not occur.

I guess you know Martin too, were you surprised?

- I was extremely surprised. I talked to Martin and he is really sad. He doesn't mean anything racist in what he says. In his head it was no more than that, but it is perceived in a different way by a recipient and that must be kept in mind in all situations, says Johannesson.

It is unclear how long he will be gone

An internal investigation is now being held and Strömbergsson will be removed from Östersunds-Sirius on Thursday. How long he will stay away from sentencing is unclear at this stage.

- It will be a personnel issue and then a decision will be made. It will be dealt with quickly, says the judge.
