Video footage and photos of the swimming pools of the hotel establishments in Dubai showed the reception of visitors again amid precautionary measures, with the need to preserve the rules of social separation and preventive measures.

According to a circular issued by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai yesterday, it allowed the reopening of indoor and outdoor pools in hotel establishments, health and sports clubs, and residential and commercial complexes.

The circular of the department included many conditions and controls that must be adhered to at all stages to ensure the highest safety standards, including subjecting swimming pools to deep cleaning, testing the water quality before reopening, cleaning and sterilizing surfaces and common areas that touch frequently once every hour or all after Use, including bathrooms and toilets.

The circular also stressed ensuring that adequate equipment is available to minimize participation to the maximum extent possible, and that all staff are trained in safety, hygiene and physical separation protocols.
