Yesterday, Impossible Games was decided on Bislett, a gala that Kowalski calls a jippo, but he paid tribute to the organizer's courage to start the competition.

- They had to sacrifice themselves for us others, Kowalski tells SVT Sport about the situation.

When Stockholm is to host the Bauhaus Gala on August 23, it will be a competition under normal forms in terms of the active.

- We are betting on a real competition. It will be a real Diamond League competition at the Bauhaus Gala where the active competes against each other with up to eight people in the races.

"Don't think we'll reach any audience"

At present, it does not appear to be an audience given the restrictions under the corona pandemic.

- We do not think we will have any audience at the Bauhaus gala. There are restrictions on 50 people and we must comply with the restrictions of the Public Health Authority. I do not think that we will have especially many on the stand.

Can you imagine splitting the Stockholm Stadium into sections?

- We have such thoughts but it is not relevant at this time.

What can you get for the gala stars?

- It looks promising. Many are interested in starting to compete. Then we get to see what it is like for travel. We do not expect to get as many active from as many countries. We expect an overweight from Europe.

Which one do you hope will be the biggest foreign star?

- We have hopes of getting the world champion in high jump, (Mutaz Essa) Barshim, which would be great fun. He is a strong international name, but it is difficult now that we have such strong Swedish stars. The international names don't sound as loud, Kowalski says of the double-reigning world champion in high jump.

Barshim often trains in Malmö with his Swedish-Polish coach Stanislaw Szczyrba.
