The first training session has already been completed for 22-year-old Annika Schmidt, who arrived in Gothenburg on Wednesday. The American is intended as a replacement for the captain, as well as the defense general, Beata Kollmats, who accidentally tore the cross band during a training session earlier this spring.

Schmidt is coming from a pre-season camp with Houston Dash in the American high league, but is now allowed to set up for the series start against Kristianstad on June 28.
