The supervisor of the Al-Nasr volleyball team, Ahmed Al-Janahi, confirmed that the Volleyball Federation, which took it today, Thursday, to cancel the current season for all competitions in different age groups without crowning any champion that shocked their aspirations, especially since their team was at the top of the table.
Al-Janahi confirmed to "Emirates Today" that the decision, although it is shocking, but they accept it, said: "The decision is correct, shocking, but there is no trick in hand, we have to accept it."

The Al-Nasr team was leading the men's league league table with 40 points, after the end of the 16th round of competition that was suspended since mid-March last, in light of the precautionary measures taken to limit the spread of the Corona virus, and after suspending all sports activities.

The supervisor of the Al-Nasr volleyball team expressed his hope that their club will obtain concessions in the coming season, and continued: "We look forward to obtaining the privileges, the least of which gave us the right to participate abroad." The Volleyball Federation became the first sports federation in the UAE to take the step to cancel the season. The federation decided to start the new season in the last week of next September.
