When the government and the Public Health Authority announced almost two weeks ago that senior sports would soon be allowed in Sweden, the message was that it will take a long time before the public will be allowed.

But in our eastern neighbor, Finland, there may already be a large public at certain matches and competitions in July. Today, the Minister of Research and Culture Hanna Kosonen (C) announced that from July 1, it will be possible to exempt the restriction of a maximum of 500 people at outdoor events.

"Every euro helps"

Instead, there will then be a limit of 500 people per stand section, a message that was welcomed by the highest football league CEO Timo Marjamaa.

- Every euro helps us in this situation. There are many clubs that have a tough economic situation. Hopefully this will help a little, he says, according to Yle.

The sections must consist of independent parts and be separated from each other. Each section must have its own restaurants and toilets.
