The Swiss Roger Federer, holder of the record for victories in Grand Slam (20), announced, Wednesday, June 10, that he would be removed from the tennis courts until 2021 after having been re-operated on the right knee.

"I plan to take the time to be 100% and be able to play at my best," said the 39-year-old in August in a message on Twitter. "I will miss my fans and the tour a lot and I can't wait to see everyone again at the start of the 2021 season." Operated on the same knee in February, he initially planned to return during the grass season this summer.
