Therese Johaug is the lone starter at 10,000 meters for ladies at the Bislett Games. As she runs, lamps at the inside edge of the racetrack will help her keep up the pace, giving a finish time of 31.50.

- 31.50 is for having something to aim for and I know it will be really tough. It is possible for the light to go off at the end, but I have to try, she tells NRK.

Johaug became Norwegian champion last year at 32.20.87 and even it would be the world's best year as very few have run 10,000 meters on track in 2020.

She herself is not very sure that she can pass last year's World Cup qualifying limit.

- It is not for nothing that it is a World Cup qualifier limit, but I will do my best to run as fast as possible. If it gets to 31.50, 32.30 or 33, then I'll do what I can to have a good experience, she says and continues:

- There are quite a lot of butterflies in the stomach, but at the same time it should be fun.

SVT broadcasts Bislett Games at 8pm on Thursday in SVT1 and on SVT Play.
