Sharjah Club has taken a set of measures and procedures during the past period, in preparation for the resumption of sports activity in the club next July, after the activity was suspended since mid-March last due to the effects of the pandemic "Corona".
These measures consisted of seven steps, including providing the club and all its facilities with sterilization devices and thermal cameras, and the club administration held a meeting chaired by Ali Salem Al Midfa, chairman of the board of directors, during which the maximum levels of prevention and safety of the club’s athletes were discussed upon their return to resume sports activity, and the eastern administration also coordinated with the Sharjah Council The sports club, reviewing a report on developmental constructions, a periodic maintenance plan, equipping the club’s facilities, as well as the club’s stadium, and the officials of Sharjah undertaking a field tour of the club’s facilities, during which they stood on the application of the precautionary health system, as well as holding the health affairs and sports medicine department of the club headed by Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Muhairi, a special meeting that discussed During it, strengthening precautionary and preventive measures, creating a healthy environment for club visitors, alerting players and individuals affiliated with the importance of spacing at the start of activity and training in order to avoid infection, and directing the importance of conducting medical checks for players when returning to training, to ensure their health and safety, according to what was announced in press statements from The club in the past days.
Member of the Sharjah Football Company Board, Director of Contracting and Players Affairs, Badr Ahmed, told «Emirates Today»: The club was keen to put in place all necessary precautions that guarantee the health of all individuals, whether they are players or an administrative and technical body or employees and others.
Sharjah, the league champion, is ranked fifth in the Arab Gulf League teams ranking with 25 points.
