The bandy was one of the few sports that had to play for the SM gold before the sports world closed down because of the corona virus.

And no one has forgotten Västerås crazy turn against Skutskär in the women's final at the Students IP on March 21.

The victory with 4-3 in extra time meant the second straight SM gold for the VSK ladies and crowned a gold-edged season, where the team had already won the title: World cup, Swedish cup (first edition on the women's side) and the basic series. 

Part of the success has been an active investment in the women's players.

- During the four years I've been here, a lot has happened. Before, there was a lot of talk about ladies and gentlemen. Now it is instead talked about the a-team, that both teams should perform at a certain level, says team captain Malin Persson to SVT Sport.
