Ola Toivonen announced a few days ago that he has left Australia and Melbourne Victory. Since then it has been most speculated on when the 33-year-old striker was to be presented to all-Swedish Malmö FF. So the news does not surprise SVT's expert Daniel Nannskog.

- It didn't come as a bomb since you knew he had broken up with Melbourne. Now they were just waiting for confirmation of the MFF acquisition.

Malmö already has several high-class strikers. The fact that competition is intensifying in MFF sees Nannskog as an asset.

- It increases Malmö's chances of winning. It is a good recruitment. It has been speculated that this is not the right recruitment. But I think somewhere that it's partly grass, which Ola prefers. Then you have to walk around on players properly. If you remember him from the national team, he was really, really good. He has delivered in Australia and I think he keeps the level. This also makes Allsvenskan even more interesting.

Experienced, qualified and soon 34 years

Ola Toivonen turns 34 this summer and returns to Malmö at a later stage in his career than Markus Rosenberg. After all, Nannskog sees it as a good acquisition.

- I think he has a few more years in his legs. But it is important to know that when you get home you have to fight enormously. It is important to understand that all Swedes are not pissed. It is a good defender and it is important that he comes up to the max if he is to have a nice finish to his career, says Nannskog.
