Next week, the PGA Tour will resume, as Carles' Schwab Challenge is played in Forth Worth, Texas. But that competition, like all other competitions this month, will be played without an audience.

But on July 16-19, the golf stars will again play in front of the public when the Memorial Tournament is decided in Columbus, Ohio. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine wrote on Twitter yesterday that politicians have been given "safe plans" for the contest.

"We will approve that plan," he writes.

American Patrick Cantlay is the reigning champion of the Memorial Tournament. Two Swedes have won the competition: Carl Pettersson 2006 and David Lingmerth 2015.
