At home in Sörkedalen outside Oslo, Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold tries, despite the corona pandemic, to train as normally as possible. With roller skis on their feet, the 23-year-old has stumbled around the Norwegian roads, but according to the biathlon, the attitude has become increasingly tough in recent times.

"Has been spit on"

Closed training centers and calls to avoid public transport have meant a higher level of conflict according to Landmark Tandrevold.

- I experience nasty detours and I've experienced people spraying flushing fluid as they drive past. I've also been spit on and it's not fun. I'm not here to provoke and I don't think anyone else as a coach is to provoke the motorists, "Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold tells NRK.

Last week, two cyclists were seriously injured in Sörkedalen, where Tandrevold manages most of his training, after being hit by a motorcycle.

- I notice that you go more with the heart in the throat pit than you have done before. I wish we could be better at taking care of each other, both motorists and other road users, says Tandrevold.
