Lewis Hamilton has never had the habit of biting his tongue. Much less with such traumatic matters as the murder of George Floyd. That is why he has not hesitated to raise his voice to criticize the company he has been working with since 2008: Formula 1. The hexacampon has criticized his silence, remembering that the World Cup is still a white sport.

"I see all of you who remain silent, some of the biggest stars have still not said anything in the midst of injustice," wrote the Mercedes driver and current world champion on his Instagram account. "Not a sign from anyone in my industry that is, of course, a white-dominated sport. I am still one of the only people of color there and I am alone," he adds to his intense criticism of Formula 1.

"I thought that now you would see why this happens and you would say something about it, but you cannot put yourself on our side. I only know that I know who you are and I see you," he adds in the Story of his account.

Hamilton added a second post: "I do not support those looting and burning buildings, but I am with those who protest peacefully. There can be no peace until our so-called leaders do something to change this."

Sainz's message

One of those who has spoken is Carlos Sainz, who next season will travel aboard a Ferrari. "It is crazy to think about what is happening these days. We all have the same blood," he posted on Twitter. And he adds: "We are a global sport with workers and fans from all over the world, with different religions, skin color and conditions."

Also Daniel Ricciardo , owner this course of one of the Renault drivers, and that next season he will own a steering wheel at McLaren. The Australian said Floyd's death is "a disgrace" and called for unity against racism. "Racism is toxic and needs to be addressed not with violence or silence but with unity and action," he wrote on his Instagram account.

Others who have also spoken are Lando Norris , a McLaren driver, who added a phrase on his Twitch profile that says, "Sign BLM #BLACKLIVESMATTER (Black lives matter) petitions!"

Canadian Nicholas Lafiti , a Williams driver, also posted on his Twitter account: "This has to end #JusticiaParaGeorgeFloyd."
