Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are close to agreeing to a reduced money allowance, estimated at 57 million euros, to keep the first striker, Argentine Mauro Icardi, with the second team, which defends its colors on loan, according to press reports.

Icardi, 27, moved to the French capital club in September 2019 on loan, after months of a tense relationship with the Lombardi club, and his role in the squad fell during the era of the new coach, Antonio Conte.

But the Argentine proved his presence in Saint-Germain, and scored 21 goals in 30 games, in various competitions with the French club, before the suspension of football matches, mid-March, due to the emerging Corona virus, and the team's crowning the league champion.

And press reports indicated recently that SG, in light of the financial consequences of «Coved-19» on football clubs, and its impact on the market value of players, sought to reduce the cost of a permanent contract with Icardi, which was estimated at 70 million euros. And revealed, "Sky Italia" network, the day before yesterday, that the two parties are about to announce a fixed contract agreement for Icardi with Saint Germain, paying for his last 50 million euros in exchange for a transfer, in addition to seven million of incentives and bonuses.

Saint Germain sought to resolve the ICARDE issue quickly, especially as the time period for activating the option to buy his contract from Inter ends today.

Saint-Germain is obliged to pay 57 million euros to convert ICARDI's secondment into a permanent contract.
