Turki Al-Sheikh had offered to Al-Ahly’s board of directors to hold a retirement match for Husam Ashour at the end of this season with an international team, with the team leader receiving all the profits from them as a kind of gratitude and appreciation for his efforts during the last period with the Red Fort.
Hossam Ashour entered into a previous dispute with the Al-Ahly club’s board a while ago after the club asked him to retire and not renew him, and is still looking at the offer made by the club to hold a retirement match at the end of the season while the player still wants to stay on the stadiums for two new seasons.
