Trainer Peter Bosz says that almost all Bayer Leverkusen players are doubtful whether they can be used on Friday evening in the Bundesliga game against SC Freiburg. The trainer is therefore disappointed with the busy program.

"Almost my entire selection is a doubt, while for our way of playing the players have to be 100 percent fit", said Bosz, who lost 1-4 against VfL Wolfsburg on Tuesday with Leverkusen.

Bosz emphasizes that the recovery time is short, especially now that players have not played matches for a long time due to the outbreak of the corona virus. The duel with Freiburg becomes the fourth for Leverkusen in twelve days.

"Football is a contact sport. You always get a few taps that you don't feel shortly after the game, but you do two days later. Not everyone can deal with that now."

"Show that the incident was"

Bosz also hopes that his players have handled the defeat against Wolfsburg well mentally. Leverkusen resumed the season with excellent victories over Werder Bremen (1-4) and Borussia Mönchengladbach (1-3), but after that things went very wrong in their own stadium.

"Wolfsburg was better on all fronts. We discussed that briefly, but now we need to move on. Hopefully my players have shed the loss. We have to show that it was an incident."

The game between Freiburg and Leverkusen, which is fifth and goes for a Champions League ticket, starts on Friday at 8.30 pm in the Schwarzwald Stadium. The home club is the number eight of the Bundesliga.
