Veteran French winger Franck Ribery is back on his team Fiorentina, after missing six months on the field due to a strong ankle injury. The 37-year-old took part in a one-to-one exercise session yesterday after Siri A clubs got the green light from the authorities to resume their exercises this week, after stopping for about two months due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus.

Ribery posted a short video on Twitter, titled "King Frank's Return," showing the former international player running and doing fitness exercises, ball control and shooting.

Ribery starred with Bayern Munich for 12 years, before moving to Fiorentina early this season, and he returned to Italy, about two weeks ago after spending several weeks in Germany during the country's closing period as part of the measures to prevent the "Covid-19" outbreak.

He scored twice in 11 games with "Viola", who is ranked thirteenth in the standings, before undergoing surgery on his right ankle as a result of an injury in his last match against Lecce on November 30. The competitions were suspended in Italy until mid-June. A decision is expected to be made about the league's return date next week.
