Darja Klisjina, who has won two indoor European Championships and took the World Cup silver in London 2017, will not compete for the next few months - even if the season starts.
On her Instagram account, which sports.ru quotes, she has told about her plans for the season, and then revealed that it will not be any of her summer season for her.
"Now we have a disastrous training period, so I don't want to stress anything to get fit quickly," she explained, adding later:
- I will start my preparations for the winter season earlier than normal. I am ready to start those preparations in August, although I normally start in October. I've been over the winter season for the past few years, but since I'm not going to compete this summer and need a lot of racing experience for the Olympics next summer, I will be competing this coming winter.
