NBC News revealed that the body of former WWE wrestler Shad Gaspard was found after three days of searching for him in the sea.

Gaspard, 39, was swimming last Sunday with his 10-year-old son near Venice Beach, California, before the sea currents began to withdraw.

The network said today, Thursday: "Gaspard asked rescuers to save his son first, before a strong wave hit him and he disappeared from their eyes. His son was rescued."

It is reported that Gaspard retired from professional show wrestling, and went on to act as he has participated in many films.
