In addition to Bryant, the other eight passengers on board the helicopter were killed in the crash on January 26, including Bryant's thirteen-year-old daughter Gianna and two of her basketball teammates.

According to the autopsy reports that have now been published, pilot Ara Zobayan, who also died in the accident, has been tested for traces of cocaine, opioids, marijuana and alcohol, among others.

The autopsy: "Violent violence through accident"

The autopsy reports for all nine aboard the accident helicopter indicate strong violence through accident as the cause of death. Bryant's injuries are described to have caused his death "quickly if not immediately".

The accident occurred when the helicopter was on its way to a girls basketball game outside Los Angeles.
