In mid-March, the majority of football leagues around the world were paused because of the corona pandemic. Several leagues have been closed and there they have distributed championship titles to the clubs that have been at the top of the table.

But in the Bundesliga, the restart is waiting this weekend.

- It is clear that it will be special. They have not been sentenced for several months and there is always uncertainty when you have not trained and been in sharp position. At the same time, these adjustments are not so many and a judging team of four can remind one another. I think it is harder for players to do things on automaticity and instinct, where it will be harder to adapt, says Jonas Eriksson, former elite judge, to SVT Sport.

- I think we will already see a difference after a half and see players who adapt to this.

Eriksson believes that the referees will initially focus on helping players with the new rules.

- That is, they want to educate the players and remind them. Do not necessarily punish. I assume that they have been instructed to point out, correct and in the first place, and if there is no improvement - then warn. Just as a judge should act on incorrect equipment, such as if someone has an earring on them, says Jonas Eriksson.

- You get back to what football looks like at the ground level. You will hear every beat on the ball, you will hear the talk, there will be no impact from the audience on either your own players, opponents or referees. It will mean that we will have a new football experience this weekend.

- I myself have judged the Stockholm village when it was quiet the first fifteen minutes, then it will be a completely different game. It is not the intensity that exists, it will not be the fighting moments and the language will be completely different.
