The Spanish newspaper "Eldesmarke" revealed that the former Al Wasl player, Fran Fran Este, decided to sponsor the football team of "amputees" to participate in the Pescan Association Championship in northern Spain.
"The Hasseltin team that I sponsor is a pioneer in football for amputees," he said, pointing out that the goal of the tournament is to bring together football players of this category within the initiatives of the Piscan Association to support athletes who have suffered limb amputation.
He added: «Each team includes seven players, and there is no infiltration, while kicking with the foot only, and it is not allowed to use the crutch to pay the ball, and whoever violates this is calculated as a violation against him as if it was a hand touch, and for the goalkeeper he is not allowed to get out of the penalty area.
