German Bundesliga this weekend will be the first major European men's league to resume games. Now it has also been announced when the ladies' ditto will resume.

League leader Wolfsburg, where Hedvig Lindahl, Fridolina Rolfö and Madelen Janogy play, writes on his website that the league can be resumed on May 29 - provided the conditions do not change.

"It's really good news that DFB (the German Football Association) has given us the opportunity to start playing again at the end of May," said Wolfsburg Sports Manager Ralf Kellerman, in a statement on the club's website.

- We are all looking forward to ending the season in a sporting way.

Not a single loss

The club writes on its website that DFB has set up guidelines that apply, among other things, to strict hygiene requirements and continuous testing of the players.

Wolfsburg has not lost a single match this season and leads the series with eight points ahead of second Bayern Munich. Six games remain to be played for all top teams in the series.
