Brighton confirmed today, Sunday, the third infection in the ranks with the emerging corona virus.
Brighton CEO Paul Barber said in statements to Sky Sports that a third member of the first team came as a result of his positive analysis despite the rules that apply.
"It is worrisome, unfortunately we have a third player. The result of his analysis was positive (yesterday) Saturday despite all the criteria that have been applied during the past few weeks, as the players did not participate in any training sessions at all."
"There is a state of anxiety, and I think it is self-evident for all clubs to have this concern. We would like to make sure that we are doing everything we can to ensure that all protocols are implemented to reduce risks as much as we can."
