The Galan UFC 249 night against Sunday will look very different compared to the organization's usual crows.

In addition to the crowds being decided in front of empty stands, a number of different safety routines are being introduced to ensure the health of the contestants and all staff. Nevertheless, a coward and two of his coaches tested positive for covid-19 before the gala and had to be quarantined. The UFC still chooses to implement the arrangement.

Gala is the first UFC event since March 14th.

Here is a sample of the UFC's security practices:

• Before checking into the hotel earlier this week, everyone had to take the temps, do an antibody test and test for covid-19. They have since done daily medical examinations and tested again for covid-19 in connection with the weigh-in - it was at this that Ronaldo Souza tested positive. "We conducted about 1200 tests on 300 people this week," says UFC President Dana White.

• All cowards have individual training rooms in the hotel to avoid exercising on the same surfaces as others. They have got their own exercise equipment as well as their own portable sauna to use for dieting.

• The three TV commentators will sit at different tables around the octagon and the official interviews immediately after the match will take place via headsets from an isolated position outside the cage.

• The mat in the octagon will be thoroughly disinfected between the matches.

• The number of staff working on television production is reduced by about 50 people from 130 to about 80.

• A maximum of 20 people may be around the match area in the arena - media and faults included.
