Coronavirus: towards a very gradual recovery for the European football championships?

The Faroe Islands football championship resumes. The competition is very modest. However, this return is a small event. It is the first European championship to resume its rights after being interrupted by the spread of the Covid-19. And other leagues from the Old Continent should soon do the same.

Smooth start on the Faroe Islands this Saturday, May 9, but from next weekend, the German Bundesliga will be back behind closed doors.
In the following weeks, other non-negligible leagues hope to relaunch their competitions, to reach a satisfactory conclusion from a sporting point of view but also to try to preserve their economic interests. Thus, Hungary, Portugal, Denmark and Poland at the end of May, or Turkey at the beginning of June, the list is not exhaustive.
No training in England, Spain or Italy yet
What about England, Spain and Italy? Like Germany, these countries host the most popular European championships. But their health situations are more reminiscent of that of France ... At home, collective training, essential to hope to organize new matches, is not yet topical.
Time is running out, UEFA, the European federation, wants the current championships to end in early August at the latest.
