Already this weekend it was rumored that the European Championships would be moved from August to May next year.

Initially, the European Championships, with swimming, swimming jumps, constim and open water, would have been decided in May this year, but the corona pandemic put a stop to it.

The swimming championship program has had to be redone properly due to the corona crisis.

The Tokyo Olympics were only moved one year ahead in time from the summer of 2020 to 2021 and since the Fukuoka Japanese World Cup would also be decided then it was moved to May 2022.
