The beach soccer tournament would have been decided between June 27 and July 3 and the beach handball tournament between July 9 and July 18.

“It is with great sadness that we must announce that all our events will have to be canceled in the summer of 2020,” Åhus Beach founder and CEO Mats G Jönsson told the website.

- We have been optimistic all the way to the last but in the end we realized the impossibility of organizing such a big event ”.

This is the first time that the event, which would have had 20,000 participants this year, must be canceled since its inception in 1997.

It has not been decided how to do with the club's registration fees. "We must ensure the financial consequences so that we do not jeopardize the event in the summer of 2021," the organizer writes.
