No more taking a photo, then sending it to your computer and finally copying it into a document. We open his document on the computer, we take the photo with the phone and we “show” it on the screen to copy it. Magic !

We all know how to copy / paste on the computer. You tell us that we will soon be able to do the same thing in real life. Take real objects and paste them directly into a document.

Imagine: you're on your word processor. You want to add an image. For example, the cup next to you. You take your phone. You aim for the famous cup. Click, copy. He will take a photo, delete the background and crop it perfectly, to keep only the object. Then you point the phone at the computer screen. You aim for the place in the document where you want to insert the image. Click, paste. And it will be placed exactly where it is needed. We immediately see the interest when it is necessary to add the photo of the object that we want to resell on a website or when we collect photos of inspiration for its decoration (the famous "mood boards"). Well there, it will be simpler, more intuitive. Especially since the photos are automatically cropped on a white background. A concept developed by a Frenchman: Cyril Diagne.

And could it also work with text?

Yes. In this case, it does character recognition. We can therefore very easily retrieve information from a business card (email address for example) and paste it wherever we want. It even works the other way around. Just put your phone anywhere on the screen. Then drag and drop to the physical phone, as if it were a folder, to copy. This avoids the current problems since you never know how to make transfers between the phone and the computer.

And is it available?

Back to school, in principle, on applications like PhotoRoom for the photo part. As for the transfer to the phone, it will be at Microsoft, Dell and Huawei.
